Day Two

We had another good day on the road, mostly sunny, but we bucked a strong wind all day that dropped our mileage down to 8-9 mpg.  We thinned the bug population when we drove past Devils Lake.

We reached our spot for the night (Lignite, ND) at 6:00 pm and had a salad & Chicken Broccoli Curry for supper.  Now we are watching "We Bought A Zoo" and catching up on e-mails, phone calls and relaxing.

We are only 10 miles from the Canadian border at Portal, ND which will will cross tomorrow morning so blog posts will be as internet access allows.  We are looking forward to driving past all of the pot-holes in Saskatchewan  and seeing the multitude of waterfowl.
