Day One

We were able to get on the road much earlier this year, 9:45 a.m.  We left The Cabin In The Woods in good hands with Sister Sue and neighbors.

We had clear skies and temps in the 70's.  By the time we got to Superior temps had dropped into the 60's.  We met Tom & Diane Lewandowski at the Superior Perkins for a cup of coffee and afternoon snack and then it was back on the road (hwy. 2) west to our final stop for the Day in Fosston, MN where we pulled in to the City Park at 9:15 p.m.  There was only one other rig in the small park.

At 3:30 a.m. we had a nice thunderstorm and rain, it is dry here also.  We got up to mostly cloudy skies, but no rain.  The sun is out now and we are doing chores before getting back on the road.  We plan to drive to Lignite, ND today and cross into Canada tomorrow.
