On The Way To Wisconsin

Yesterday we left St. Theresa Resort and started our travel back to Wisconsin.  Before leaving we helped take care of the puppies one last time and then took the boys for their last walk at Scout Lake before going to Fred Meyers in Soldotna for last minute groceries and fuel.  After getting back to camp we got everything hooked and unhooked and squared away for our departure.

We pulled out of camp at 1:15 p.m. and enjoyed sunshine and the fall colors as we passed through Anchorage and Palmer.  The mountains, streams and colors are just breathtaking.  We ended the day pulling into Slide Mountain RV Park and Cabins about 30 miles west of Glennallen around 8:00 p.m.

We awoke Wednesday morning to bright sunshine and frosty conditions.  Today we should cross into the Yukon Canada and hope to get as far as White River RV Park.

I forgot to mention Rosalie said she was having puppy withdrawal and am happy to report we don't have any extra dogs with us.
